Good morning everyone!!! How’s your weekend going so far??! Mine has been pretty good. My husband had to go out-of-town for the day to Alaska (I think that sounds so cool to be able to say that. lol) but will be home tonight and ready to wod! Woop Wooop! 😉 I have a good one picked out for him so he should be a happy husband. Hopefully we can have a fun family fun day tomorrow. I’m not sure what we are gonna do but we will find something! Okay well because it’s just me here I have to make this short and sweet because the baby is calling 😉 Here’s our WOD!

WOD:
Death by Burpee Box Jump (30/24)
With a running clock, complete one burpee box jump the first minute, two the second minute, three the third minute, etc until you cannot complete the appropriate amount of reps in the minute.

3 Minute Superman Hold

Yep. That’s how most of my conversations start everyday! lol Sorry my Non. Crossfitter friends! Yesterday’s wod went better than expected. The squat snatches I had some help with and they still have a minute before I see improvement but my snatches for the wod. I added 10 lbs to what I normally would do, I did 45 instead of 35. Not a great improvement but I was happy with it and I was able to do them and feel like I was doing them right for the whole WOD! It did take me 12:45 to finish, I was the last again. But I don’t care. I finished and did more weight. And felt good with them for the first time ever. So overall I would call that WOD a success! Now hoping today’s goes good to! Here it is!

Today’s WOD

Strength:
In 15 minutes, work up to a heavy single Deadlift

WOD:
5 Rounds at a 5 minute start interval of:
10 Shoulder-2-Overhead (95/65)
Run 300 meters
Score = total time

Bonus:
3 minute hold of Superman

This could not be more true! I love snatches. I think when you can do it right they are one of my favorite lifts to watch someone do. They just look pretty. But to do them. I think, no I know they are one of the hardest lifts to do! Ughhh I do not get along with them at all. I have 3 things that I have been struggling with the most. The first and the worst being Snatches, then Double Unders, and Overhead Squats. So I guess we’ll see how today’s wod goes. I would think the more I do them the better I will get. That is how it works right? lol

Yay snatches again! I’m still having trouble with my snatches maybe today will be a better day. Fingers Crossed! Yesterday’s WOD was defiantly my least favorite one we have had in a while. I got 24:20, the running did me in. But I did really push I only stopped to catch my breath a few times and really if I could learn to control my breathing I think I could run allot better. It’s never that I’m tiered it’s that I can’t breath. Any advise? Oh and on a positive note I signed up to volunteer at the 1st Garage games in GA! My husband is going to compete and I will be volunteering and cheering him on! I can’t wait!!!!! Any one else going to be there?!?

Good Morning all my amazing followers! Yesterday’s WOD kicked my butt! I was able to get 6 rounds in (Scaled) and Brian got 4 + 13 (He had too much weight for his deadlifts he should have scaled it more). Today’s should be interesting. Fingers crossed I can finish it! Snatches are not my favorite thing right now. 😦
