Okay here we go- This is how Sept went

September goals

1. First and most important is getting everything in order so I can start my second certification and a couple courses. I want to get my ACE Health Coach certification, take a Nutrition/Weight Management course and Sports Performance course. By October I want to be working on these!

Okay- One goal met- Check! Everything is in Order, I’ve recived my books and I’m working on getting my certifications!

2. I need to get a tan for our cruise October 5th! Its a 7 day eastern Caribbean cruise. Normally I’m always tan all summer long but this summer was a little bit different with our 8 month old son. My pool time is pretty limited and the beach really hasn’t happened this year.

3. To drink water, water and more water. At least 4 full East Cooper cups a day of water. My East Cooper cup is the one I got at the hospital when I had Bryden and it is 28oz. So that should be a pretty good amount of water.

2nd goal met! Check! 🙂 I think some days I far exceeded this amount! I feel so much better when I’m drinking enough water!

4. To do crossfit at least four days a week if not five days.

3rd goal met! My husband I have been doing it five days a week and right before vacation six days. Six days was a tad much and our bodies were very happy they got a nice break! 004

5. Move to the blue band for pull ups!

I’m not sure I think I might be there I haven’t attempted it sence we have been back. I’ll try the next time we do pull ups! I know when I used the green band yesterday it was really really easy. So hopefully that’s a good sign! 52e26a99b6f7040b9f0608613b6dd175

6. Work on my handstands! (I need to have them good for the cruise! I need pictures at all the different beaches don’t I?)

7. Really get back into my meal planning. Last week went really good so now I just have to keep it up and not slack! We feel so much better when we cook at home and we try all different healthy meals. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring or taste horrible! And we save so much money when I meal plan. I plan a week of meals go to the store once and that’s it for the week. No random store trips. Saves a ton and I mean a ton of money! When does anyone ever go in the store for one thing and come out with only that one thing? I know we NEVER do!

Well this didn’t happen I was to concerned with the vacation to really concentrate on doing this. But now I’m in full meal planning/Coupons/Saving money mode! Need to save for our next Cruise! 452408b7976203560dc6c4a11144bcc9

Sense October is almost over I’m going to wait till November and do a list of November goals!!! Who wants to do this with me?!?! 😀 I think it’s a great way to work harder on sticking to them!

We got home Saturday night from vacation and we both feel so refreshed! We had a great time. Our cruise was great. We ate a lot less than what we normally would, worked out three times (We never workout on vacation) so this vacation was a little different than past ones. We had some great family time when we got back to Orlando. We had our Thanksgiving early so we could all be together, my husband and I went to see Avenged Sevenfold (One of our favorite bands) and we went to Universal (My dad works there so he was able to get us all in for free!) We also did do our 300 Burpee challenge. I did mine 2 times, first on the boat and then b/c Brian hurt his knee and couldn’t do them on the boat I did them again with him off the boat later in the week. Oh and I can not forget to tell y’all about the new cafe we found! It’s called first watch, and of course we don’t have one in SC right now but if you have one close to you I recommend going there! They are only open from 8am-230 breakfast and lunch. And they are soooo GOOD! Everything is clean and they have so many healthy yummy things! Brian’s Grandma brought us there and after that we went 2 more times! http://www.firstwatch.com/

Okay on to today’s WOD- I could tell I was on vacation for 2 weeks that’s for sure! This should not have been as hard as it was! :/ I had 3 rounds plus 34. Scaled. I couldn’t get the ring push ups. (It was the first time I had ever done them in my defense. So I used my box and did them that way.)

Okay everyone this will be my last post until we get back from our vacation! We are not the people who go on vacation and still get on the computer, text, Facebook and so on. We get on the boat and that’s it no phone, no computer, no real life. Well other than checking in with my parents to check on our son. But that’s it! I should have lots of good pictures both crossfit and non crossfit related when we get back. I think I have a pretty good amount of workouts all lined up for us (And I’m so excited to bring My BF Lindsay to her first crossfit class while we are in Orlando!!! I know she’ll love it! Or I hope! lol) so hopefully we wont be to out of it when we get back.

Today’s WOD was a good one to leave on. It kicked my butt and I’m really not sure if I will be able to walk for the first couple days of our vacation! LOL. When I saw the WOD last night of course it was one of those “That doesn’t look so bad” “It looks kinda easy” You would think I would learn at some point that if I think that it will be the opposite! 300 meters of walking lunges is NOT easy! I didn’t think It was ever ever ever going to get to the end! :/ But finally I did finish at 18:50. Oh and did everyone watch the crossfit games??!! My husband and I stayed up past our bedtimes to watch! 🙂

300 Burpees on vacation? Yep that’s what were doing! Well that and going to the box in St.Thomas. My husband was excited about St. Thomas, I mean he gets a shirt, gets to do crossfit, and gets to be able to say he did crossfit in St. Thomas. Now when I just told him about the burpees on the boat. Not quite as excited. lol. But this is what happen. It was said that if our Box got 300 likes on their facebook page all the coaches would do 300 burpees for time. Well this happened this week and they did their burpees last night. Well today it was posted “The challenge is open for everyone!” Well if you do crossfit and you have a box you go to regularly what are you going to do when you see that? Not do it? I don’t think so! And b/c we are leaving tomorrow for Orlando and Saturday for our Cruise I figured the perfect place to knock this out would be on the boat! 😀 So yep I said we would do it and do it on our cruise. So when we get home I will let y’all know what our times were! I’m wondering where a good place will be on the boat. Any Idea’s? I think our room will be to small for both of us.

Happy Monday morning everyone! 🙂 We are on our final cruise countdown! In three days we drive to Orlando, and six day’s we get on our boat and sail away! How was y’alls weekend? Ours was good. We did our normal Saturday Crossfit and then our Sunday rest day. We walked over to trail we live close to and checked it out. We have been waiting for cooler weather and less bugs! Yesterday was perfect out! It is finally fall! I think. lol I also made some cookies (recipe is getting posted today)IMG_0180 and a chicken almost stew like dinner (also getting posted today)IMG_0202 and I worked pretty hard getting my ReebokOne account up and going so y’all can get 10 percent discount anytime you want to order from Reebok! 🙂 Now there are a few things excluded but for the most part most is included. And now on to today’s WOD. We only have 4 more days of crossfit and then our 2 week break starts! I’m kinda nervous about it! We are doing it on the cruise at St.Thomas and we want to check out a box in Orlando to but It’s still not going to be our normal training time. :/ So I guess we’ll see how it goes!

So today is another Sunday rest day with the family! I love knowing every Saturday we do AM crossfit and then Sunday is always a rest day. I really love our weekends. Yesterday’s WOD’s were really good! I was pretty happy with the WOD that they had posted but after our warm up there was a bonus WOD on the white board! I got really excited! Yep, I am a dork! lol. Who gets super excited about a whole other workout? Yep this girl and her husband! So we ended up getting two good WOD’s in yesterday and it felt great! There was only about 5 of us that stayed to do the bonus. I thought it was crazy everyone else left, but whatever. 🙂 My husband ended up setting a new PR! He clean and jerked 165, 3 lbs over his body weight! I was so proud of him! 1185905_10201486499117022_642430790_n

Today I woke up determined to figure out what we would do on our cruise in October (20 days away! YAY). Normally I have it all figured out by now. For the most part we just figure out the best beaches and go relax at every port. We really like doing nothing on vacation. lol. For how much we workout and love it we tend to be lazy in other silly ways. Well anyways, I just decided to google crossfit and found a box in St.Thomas! http://reebokcrossfitstthomas.com/
I checked with the times that we would be docked and emailed them to make sure that we would be good to do a drop in and everything is good to go! So we are officially going to do crossfit in St.Thomas! Other than that I still don’t know what beaches were going to or anything. lol. But hey, I have crossfit covered.
Well other than that stuff the only other thing we did was our normal Saturday football and had some good friends over. Oh and I made some really good muffins today! I posted pictures and the recipe already. I hope everyone had a good weekend! Early bed time tonight for me! I’ll be up nice and early tomorrow for the 6am class! 022
