These were taken about 2 months ago before I started training for the Garage Games, I’m going to be taking new ones this week so be on the look out! I was pretty happy just with these so I can’t wait to see my new ones! πŸ™‚ And to those people out there (And you know who you are) that think Crossfit will make you all big and bulky I think my body must have missed that memo! πŸ˜‰

What did you change in your training to get these results? Did you start doing more WODS? More cardio?

Basically I started doing crossfit full time and dropped going to the regular gym. My husband and I have always been regular gym goers. I would do some weights, alot of cardio on machines and classes (Spin was the main one I did) After I had Bryden I tried my first crossfit class. And I was done after the warm up! LOL Granted It was one of my first time’s really working out after having a baby. But I started doing crossfit 1-2 times a week and spin 4 or more and regular carido and some weights. I never was good at weights at the gym because I would get bored and I hated being at the gym as long as I would be there if I did weights. Some times close to 2 hours. Geez. So it didn’t take very long until all I was doing was Crossfit. I go 5 days a week. Sometimes 6 but I know my body needs 2 days of rest so I try not to do 6. And that’s all I do. I just recently started to work on my running to help me more with crossfit but that’s a work in progress b/c I really dislike running. Crossfit is broken down into strength training and conditioning and the Wod’s Basically if you do the wods right your doing a high endurance workout. (Cardio) Even tho its with weights sometimes it’s still lifting them fast, and as soon as you throw in a run 400m three times with the weights your toast. lol My favorite thing about crossfit is my workout can be under 20 minutes alot of times and I swear its 5x better then what I would do at the regular gym. And it’s fun and I never get bored! I’ve never been so strong or had such a strong core! So basically I got that way just from following the workout’s at my box πŸ™‚ After I took those picture’s I did start doing 2 a days leading up to the Garage Games to prepare for doing 3 wod’s in one day. But when those pics were taken it was just whatever the wod was for my box and the strength portion πŸ™‚

Oh and I didn’t even think to add I’m sure the way my husband and I eat helps alot also! We eat pretty clean and really healthy. I would say its not 100 percent but a good solid 80% πŸ™‚

    wow! Great results.

  4. Thank you so much for sharing you before and after pictures. It is so encouraging to read personal success stories. I’m not a Crossfitter (yet), but hope to be when I can afford it after grad school. Until then I’ll keep spinning, yoga-ing, and P90x-ing! But this is awesome!

You mentioned in another comment that you and your husband eat very clean. Could you share some of your go-to meals?

    Thank you!

What a change! Nice work!!! I should have taken some “before” shots. My “after” isn’t quite where I want it yet, but i’m moving in the right direction! I agree that food plays a big part too, sometimes I think more than the workouts….but CrossFit ROCKS! So fun, always challenging and definitely gets results! Keep up the great work!

Thank you!!! I agree food takes on more of a roll then most ppl think. Crossfit does rock lol the harder and more challenging a wod the more I love it!!!
